Born in Iran. Raised between South America, Turkey and the U.S.
Moving between cultures taught me to pay attention before jumping in. The same thing can feel completely different depending on who's on the other side of it. That pulled me toward product design, where I became less interested in how things look and more curious about how people think, decide and move through experiences.
Startups first, then bigger teams.
I started at early-stage startups, working through uncertainty, collaborating closely with engineers and shipping real things. That taught me to prioritize ruthlessly and design under constraints, skills I brought to larger, more established teams.
Work where trust forms over time.
Financial platforms, onboarding systems, enterprise tools, and products where mistakes feel expensive. More recently, research-backed work that brings the user's voice into early alignment, so teams invest in what matters before the first line of code.
Principles, not rules.
Mentoring and hiring.
At Achieve and Mercer I onboarded and mentored junior designers, helping them learn the business and find their footing in their roles. I've been part of hiring at every company I've worked at, from portfolio reviews to case study challenges.
